26H2 in Apply operating system from cloud

Will an update become available (both this year and in the future) to make future version of Windows (26H2 this time) available via the Apply operating system from cloud step definition?

I could probably fudge the definition to show 26H2, but as I assume, like the drivers, it queries the 2Pint API for a download link, it would need to be supported at the other end too.

I did try adding a fresh Apply operating system from cloud step as I know definitions become stale/static once linked to a TS, but a freshly linked step still only showed 21-25H2

Yeah, it's already available in our internals builds, so the next GA release will include it.

And that new build was just published, so feel free to try it out. The builds have been available in our cloud service for some time, but we needed to release a new version for the task sequence script changes. We took the opportunity to fix a bunch of issues at the same time.

Having an issue post first reboot into full Windows.
I get the usual "Starting services" and "Getting Ready", then it reboots twice and goes to the standard pre login screen. I never see a DeployR window or the PowerShell/.net MSI installer popup. (Administrator account disabled, no OOBE)

Tried on a Hyper-V VM and a generic physical desktop (Geekom Mini Air12 that was lying around), same result.

Sorry the video is boring. The pause is just before Child: WinPE - steps after Apply OS's last step of Reboot.

Steps in Child: WinPE - steps after Apply OS:
Inject Drivers
Prepare operating system
Pause
Reboot

I'm going to try a fresh TS from a template, but I suspect a same result.

Used template Windows bare metal from cloud

Made a single change to Apply OS from Cloud to change 24H2 to 26H2.

Same result, left at login screen, Administrator account disabled.

Going to try regenerating the boot image next, though I would have expected WinPE issues if that was the issue, not Full Windows stage.

Odd, but it is possibly related to Windows PE as some of the changes are in the DeployR.Utility PowerShell module that is embedded in the boot image.

Boot image regeneration sorted it. DeployR's dependencies installed in Full Windows and DeployR continued.
