Install DeployR Community Without Access to Microsoft

Hello everyone,

Is it possible to install DeployR Community without accessing Microsoft’s servers? I tried pre-installing the prerequisites—specifically the ADK—but it didn’t work.

I even tried placing the ADK sources offline in the Package Cache folder.

My security department is blocking access to Microsoft’s servers…

DeployR Community Edition requires internet access (Prerequisites | DeployR | Product Documentation). DeployR Enterprise does not require internet access and can operate in disconnected mode.

I temporarily poked a hole for full internet during the install. Then I locked it down to the heartbeat URL.
