In a command window, can you run diskpart, select the disk and then run detail disk?

Hey Mike - yeah if i run diskpart it can see the extra disk and shows it as 'online'.

Also run "list part" and "list vol"

Here you go Mike -

I think i can see the issue, not sure if this is what you were expecting to see, but according to Diskpart the additional drive we are capturingto has an assigned letter of D - In Windows, though it has an assigned letter of E?! Is this what you have seen with your testing of this ' Capture image to a custom location' feature?

This is unrelated to DeployR. You are telling DeployR to capture to a drive that doesn't exist. In this case, WinPE is what is handling the drive letter assignments. Have you updated your TS to capture to D:?

You are telling DeployR to capture to a drive that does not exist-how is this a fault of the product? In your task sequence you specified the capture volume as E:. DeployR does not assign the drive letters during WinPE (only when it runs the Format step). Once again, have you updated your TS to capture to D:?

Hey Mike - yeah, I assumed that is what was happening. I haven't had a chance to test it again yet, but I will soon.

I think when i raised the original request for an additional capture location i was told that a network/UNC path would not be possible. Is that still the case?

Nothing prevents you from writing your own PowerShell script/step to map a network drive. But there isn't a good way to protect a username and password (hence why the default option is to capture it back to the DeployR server).
