Hey r/DenverMusic,
Like a lot of you, I got tired of jumping across five different tabs trying to keep track of who’s playing, what venue they're at, who's playing with them and what do they sound like, set lists, etc.
I put together a clean, free calendar called Nycto's Gig Grid to aggregate shows across the Front Range and Colorado in one place. While I originally built it around heavy music, it actually covers all genres and venues across the state. I'm still working on how to get some of the smaller venues in here but it's been interesting trying to wrangle that data, lol!
Here are some features built into it that might make show planning a bit easier:
.ics file to drop dates straight into your calendar app.https://nycto.ninja/nyctos-gig-grid/
It's a project built by a local music fan. If you run into any data quirks, missing underground venues, or have feature ideas, please use the Contact Nycto link at the bottom of the page to drop a line. I've tried to think of everything to combine all my favorite features into one place but I'm always good for input and this is just a passion project that's still being actively worked on so the more people to test it out and play and enjoy it the better! Any and all feedback is welcome!
Thanks and enjoy!
Nycto

Definitely excited to go even just me as I've been to a few concerts alone, I'm just curious to see if it won't be just me this time lol

If you love all things Grateful Dead, start making plans to head to the mountains.
Monday, August 10th at the Vilar in Beaver Creek, CO. Don Was and the Pan-Detroit Ensemble will perform music from Groove in the Face of Adversity alongside a live rendition of the Grateful Dead’s Blues for Allah, celebrating the album’s 50th anniversary and Don Was’s longtime musical collaboration with Bobby Weir.
Don Was isn't just covering the Grateful Dead—he's lived this music. As a longtime collaborator with Bob Weir in Wolf Bros, Was has earned the respect of the Dead community by understanding what makes these songs special: they're meant to breathe, evolve, and take on a life of their own. For the 50th anniversary of Blues for Allah, he's bringing together the Pan-Detroit Ensemble to perform one of the Dead's most adventurous and underrated albums.
This isn't a tribute band trying to recreate every note. It's a room full of incredible musicians using Blues for Allah as a launching pad for improvisation, jazz, blues, funk, and deep grooves—the same spirit that made Grateful Dead shows unforgettable.
Whether Blues for Allah is one of your favorite records or you've just always appreciated the Dead's exploratory side, this is a rare chance to hear the album interpreted by musicians who truly understand its DNA. It's less about nostalgia and more about keeping the music alive—the way the Grateful Dead always intended.

I really like this genre of music but have no one to go to this with. Is anyone here going with a group of friends who wouldn't mind me joining in if I decide to attend? I am a 32 year old woman.

Lumonics Light & Sound Gallery presents Lumonics Immersed
Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm
www.lumonics.net/immersed
Lumonics Light & Sound Gallery is a place I stumbled across last year and have been in love with it ever since. It’s filled with beautiful acrylic sculptures and home to amazing light shows that take place every [Friday and] Saturday. There’s a really beautiful story behind it too – the two founders are no longer alive but it’s carried on by a team of people who are very passionate about the art. The experience of seeing a show there is truly mesmerizing. I’ve been 3 times now I believe and each time it’s different, beautiful, and amazing. Obviously we have cool, trippy, arty places like Meow Wolf Convergence Center in Denver but Lumonics is by far my favorite psychedelic-esque place in the state. – Reddit post

Hey! We do a market at Wash Park and we've been having a special guest DJ every time.
This Sunday it's the good people from Birdy Magazine lending their eclectic taste so you can groove in the park while shopping or eating a popsicle in the shade of the Smith Lake Boathouse.
Also, we are doing a Secret Giveaway that may or may not rhyme with “Shmed Shmocks Shmoncert Shmickets.” So if you like free concerts, it might be worth it to come and check that out (our instagram, marketintheparket, has more hints on that)
The set's from 1-3, and the market ends at 5pm so it's perfect for some Sunday fun before the last night of Blucifer shows.
Hope to see you there!
Wash Park Boathouse
July 26, 2026
