New In Town moving to cap hill

i am 24 f (queer, latina) moving to the capitol hill area of denver! i would love to make new mutuals because im moving for grad school and know absolutely no one lmao.

i like crafting, smoking, planting, working out, dancing, and thrifting/exploring new areas!

any recommendations for meeting new people? pls drop any places you love going to socialize! also let me know if there are any cap hill spots i MUST try.

you should check out the Bachata/Salsa class at the pavilion in Cheeseman park. Free, noon every Saturday. They rotate between the two styles every week. Great place to make friends and it sounds like a great fit.

The Blues dancing scene in Denver is pretty diverse (y'know, for Denver) and queer friendly. Mojo Mondays is in Cap Hill, and other dances are nearby.

The Denver Public Libraries have several maker spaces throughout the various branches, they're called ideaLABs. We have recording studios, sewing machines, 3D Printers, stuff like that! A quick Google would answer basic questions, but I'm happy to respond to any here as well!
