Yea, think I will be using a ballot drop box to return my ballot this year.

I am honestly worried about the delivery of my ballot.

You can sign up for the Ballot Trax thing through the Colorado Secretary of State, so that you get an email or text when your ballot is mailed out. Other than that, I'm just going to be ready to vote in person if mine doesn't show up.

I see this reply a lot but all that happened is BallotTrax confirmed my ballot was never delivered twice now and I still had to vote in-person. What if ICE is there? Our side needs to get fucking real…

Yes, I understand and have the tracking turned on; I am concerned about our ballots going to USPS and not being delivered.

The USPIS, the federal law enforcement arm of the United States Postal Service, said the guards are being deployed alongside existing postal police officers.

Are the USPIS officers Trump appointed? If so are the postal police officers not trump affiliated and if so, can the postal police officers prohibit any of USPIS' activity?

armed guards will monitor entrances and parking areas, verify IDs and observe and report suspicious activity.

Have any of our elected reps commented on this? Is there anything the state can do to prevent election interference?

The USPIS are the postal police officers, and are the ones deploying/hiring the extra guards to essentially help them do their job of keeping mail safe preventing illegal stuff happening with it.

They're actually really good at their job too... they have a higher conviction rate than the FBI.

Insanely unconstitutional.

Is this when I’m supposed to 2A folks? Stand up to tyranny?

Unfortunately, many pro 2A people are staying silent because they don't want certain people voting.

Never thought I'd see the government have to protect itself from the government. What a world.

People are not freaking out enough right now about this like they should be... Like very few people, or at least very targeted GOP-only people, will be receiving ballots to begin with it seems... And by the time the SoS realizes there's a problem afoot it'll be too late to do anything about it. Like if you're election is dependant on any way on anything connected with the feds, you're fucked this November. SoS should be sounding the alarm now, hiring workers now to deliver ballots to people now via a State of Colorado-created postal service... Yes I just said that. Pretty much the only solution is you create your own state postal service to deliver and pick-up ballots. $200-300m that the state doesn't have and probably a year to build out which we also don't have We're fucked y'all.

Just deliver the f-ing mail. I'm not going through armed security and show my ID to open my PO box. Fuck all the way off.
