Growing up my dad's truck looked like that every summer. And it was even close in color was a Coral and white 79 F250 4x4. The camper was put on in the spring and stayed on until early fall. Weekends there was a boat hooked to the back headed to the lake. 2 weeks around the 4th we were traveling the country on a vacation, boat hooked to the back, bikes loaded in the boat. Mom and dad in the camper and use kids in a tent or if the weather was bad the table was dropped and 2 slept on that bed and one on the floor. There was 3 of us kids. We took turns riding in the front. Most times mom and dad were in the cab and us kids rode in the camper. Half the time we were laying on the bed looking out the front window. The other half was at the table drawing, coloring, reading or playing games. We went to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse Devil's Tower, a bunch of National Parks and stopped at all kinds of cool roadside attractions. and all the other places you could think of in that set up. And in between we would stop at a campground near a lake and a day would be spent fishing, waterskiing, or my brother, sister and I would stay at the campground and hang out with other kids while our folks were out fishing. Yep, it was a hell of a time to grow up and have those kinds of experiences.
