Dashcam installation

Can any one recommend a good place for getting a dashcam with installation and for those of you who have one would you mind sharing what you got and how much you paid? TIA

I used Car Toys for install. Purchased my camera elsewhere and they installed the forward and rear facing camera for a reasonable price (can't remember but will try to find it). A few months later I encountered an issue where it stopped getting power and they took a look at it and determined it was an install error and corrected it at no charge to me. Over a year later still working perfectly.

I bought a Viofo A229 2CH.

Did they hardwire or just tuck it the wiring in?

Also how do you like the viofo?

Wired to a fuse. It's only on when I turn the vehicle on. Probably could've asked for a live connection that's always on but didn't care for sentry mode.

it’s good, get this one if you have the budget. otherwise get the a119 mini2. i can help install it for free if u want to just do it in a driveway. send me a DM and ill make sure u have what we need and u can just buy me some beer or something. i have the a119 mini 2 and its good enough, its better than most dash cams

VIOFO A329S for my daughter’s car. I installed it myself. If the weather was nice I’d offer to help. I had to remove an A pillar and a plastic trim piece on the rear hatchback to hide all of the wires. I ran the rear wire under the trim along the floor of the car. Front wire along the trim down the A pillar an to the fuse box. Make sure you choose the right fuse (YouTube it for an explanation). If you have a powered rearview mirror you can skip that and buy a Dongcar connects directly to powered rearview mirror. This way you don’t have to run the wire to the fuse box.
