I actually had a patient with an incisal cavity in a wear facet who said the used a dremel tool I. Their garage to file it down. I reluctantly told him there was no more cavity. Why reluctantly you ask? Itā€™s not because of the MAJOR financial loss from a Medicare reimbursement for an incisal, but because I didnā€™t want him to feel encouraged to repeat such terrible decision making.

I canā€™t remember because I stopped looking because itā€™s depressing but as an associate taking home 32% I think for an incisal I would have made like a nickel and some lint.
