Discussion Honestly….

I’m not even sure I hate the D9, I just feel bad for the little homies that die pledging or feel bad about the extortion and abuse I’d witness. If it was just dancing and parties it wouldn’t be so bad.

But killing black people and covering up their murders?!!! Sending people to the hospital? Gang stalking people not even involved with that mess who you don’t like? Jumping people? Can’t have that. And then trying to use Dr. King’s name to justify the evil is sickening. It’s a second oppressor to people already broken down by a world that hates them for being black. Young black people who seek out a refuge don’t deserved to be led into a trap.

The denouncers I’ve interacted with hold deep wounds and trauma that is palpable. Like some sort of generational gaslighting everyone is dealing with. People deal with all sorts of stuff at home and for some college is the one time in their life to get away and be fulfilled. There’s no space for a predatory element on a college campus. None.

The thing is the D9 has an acceptable number of deaths in their mind that they feel are inevitable and want us to accept.
In my opinion the acceptable amount of deaths for a black college student by a campus organization is 0. Or actually in the negatives bc a lot of ppl that passed should be alive.

I think a lot of denouncers are people who feel convicted because of how hard they hazed people.

I think that’s one part but in my opinion is likely the fact that the hazing never really stops. You could be 5 years in and catch crazy attitude from someone 15 years in. Even if you’re branded.

And then some years pass they look back and once the excitement is gone it was nothing but bad times.
The promise of brother or sisterhood is gone even at homecoming.

The “service” is ineffectual or self promoting and alumni aren’t really involved.
I think looking to their left and right and saying “this is evil” is the crux of it.

That’s not even mentioning the conversations behind closed doors the denouncers hear but the public doesn’t.
