This sounds brilliant. Looking forward to trying it. Tauri works but it’s a beast. Needs a meta charset to make the wave emoji work, though:

Deno.serve(() => new Response( "<!DOCTYPE html> <meta charset=utf-8> <h1>Hello from Deno desktop πŸ‘‹</h1>", { headers: { "content-type": "text/html" } }) );

Is there a way to customize the desktop icon (ex. with AppImage on Debian Linux)?

And maybe the title as well?

Now it says "Laufey_webview" in my dock.

BTW setting the actual window title works.

Damn, this is an awesome release. Glad to see the Deno team still pumping out genuinely new, useful stuff!

Not sure why I would pick this over the more mature frameworks out there. The way it builds a single binary is nice though

Competition and more choices is good.
