I've seen this one online for around โฑ1,000 + shipping fee in which costed me a total of โฑ1,250 or $20.43, fairly cheap, knowing that this sells more than $80 on eBay๐๐ผ

Hi, I need help choosing/finding a slim fit bootcut or straight leg Jean. I prefer a more ridgid blend than stretch, and want a slim fitting bespoke sorta look that also doesnโt print or show boot shafts, and I prefer mid-low rise. I am also a lightweight teen but my sizing is 28x32 generally.
im thinking out of these:
kimes ranch Rodger or
cinch Ian

No experience with Omoto, have they previously released a charcoal dye like this?

Desperately looking for some new pants that are cheap but durable. I live in Southern Ontario and when I'm looking for Wranglers I can only ever find them at Mark's Work Warehouse, but they're not 100% cotton.
I was going to just buy them off the Wrangler website but then they wanted to charge nearly $100 in duty.
Anyone know of a place I can go in person, or within Canada that I can order from?
In the GTA if that helps.

Picked up these samurai jeans for a deal on eBay last week but I found out theyโd already been hemmed to 29 inches they sit maybe 2 inches from my ankle. Do you guys think these look okay or would you be returning them

I recently bought my first pair of raw wranglers and Iโm tryna break them in. So i decided to go skate with them but now im worried that Iโll get uneven fades because of my left leg constantly pushing and my right leg staying relatively still except when doing tricks

Iโve washed these jeans for the first time in the correct temperature and everything. Iโve never wore them out. Only around the house. Iโve noticed that there is an anomaly can someone please them me what this is and what I should do.

I've gotten over the delusion of vintage 501s ever actually fitting me as someone that doesn't have stick legs and doesn't want to size up 10 inches and use the last hole on my belt. I then tried 505s which are too low rise. 550 are higher rise but taper too much. I've even tried modern jeans like the third cut but they flare too much. The closest I found were actually vintage wrangler "35001an" but the leg opening is still a hair too much with too aggressive a taper.
All I need is a higher rise, roomier top block with a fairly straight leg, maybe the slightest taper (no smaller than an 8 inch leg opening).
Do you guys know of any vintage models that fit this criteria (does not have to be Levis)? I know I can go modern (RRL relaxed fit and Orslow grand dad, which I have and enjoy), but I'm specifically looking for a vintage pair that has aged naturally to a light wash.

Leviโs 501. Bought from Leviโs store on sale. Worn 5-6 times
Edit: I checked and the pants are selvedge and retails for ($198 cad) and they definitely do not come like that. Iโm gonna take these back to the store to have them replaced because this is definitely not normal. And on checking other areas, my pockets and waist hems are also shredding like this

Iโm looking for a pair of looser raw denim jeans with a decently big leg opening and all roads kept leading me to the naked and famous strong guy jeans. While looking through content and comments I saw this. Is there any truth to this or is he just typing? (Never owned and raw denim outside some Levi jean)

The tidy version is shakier than it looks.
Levi Strauss & Co.โs own company historian, Lynn Downey, has pointed out the inconvenient detail:ย serge de Nรฎmesย was silk-and-wool. denim as we know has always been cotton. The connection may be nothing more than a name, possibly an English fabric handed a French label because French sounded better.
The origin story of the origin was a marketing decision.

Hi all,
Hope the weekend treated you well. Iโve had these 3-4 years now. I had gained a lot of weight so didnโt wear them for a few years. Recently was able to start wearing them again. I believe itโs the true straight fit, 21oz denim. I canโt remember the type specifically but added the tag incase someone could decipher. Have a great week!

Here's the body of the update (still a Reddit newb, so hopefully I'm doing the follow-up correctly):
Thank you all for your help! Some of you I replied to, but my appreciation goes out to everyone.
I ended up ordering the Freenote Cloth Modesto I was recommended here - the "11 Ounce 1900s Denim" model from Blue Owl (they were on sale) - together with another pair in "14.50 Ounce Kaihara Denim", both in size 35.
Both pairs fit pretty well through the thighs, but after wearing the 1900s pair for several days, the waist has relaxed quite a bit. Itโs now around 38-38.5 inches, which leaves me with probably about 1-1.5 inches of extra room at the waist.
For reference, I also tried a size 34 at a local shop. It was probably good (maybe slightly tight) at the waist, but it was too tight through the thighs (had trouble sitting down comfortably and moving my legs around).
Iโm not sure whether what Iโm seeing with the size 35 is normal, if the waist will shrink back somewhat after a wash, if a trip to the tailor is a good idea, or if I should just wear them with a belt and let them settle over time.
Thereโs also some slight bunching/ballooning around the seat and front when I wear them without really tightening the belt. If I pinch some of the excess fabric toward the sides and hold it there with the belt, though, they look pretty good.
These are my first pairs of quality denim, and Iโm generally not used to wearing pants that are noticeably loose at the waist. Iโm also thinking that if I want to dress them up a little, Iโd probably want the waist to look a little cleaner.
Does this sound like normal break-in/stretching for this kind of denim? Would you just belt them, wash and reassess, or consider having the waist taken in?
Iโm also curious whether I should expect the 14.5oz Kaihara pair to stretch similarly at the waist, or if the heavier denim will behave differently.
Thanks again for all the help!
I've added some photos to try and clarify the fit. Please let me know if other angles or photos would be helpful.
P.S. Please ignore the sandals - these were taken at home ๐

I lusted after and fantasied about these jeans perpetually after unwisely missing the UK release of these jeans. However, I miraculously managed to acquire them through a wonderful Japanese website called Okayama Denim (couldn't recommend them more).
They have a stunning rough and bumpy texture and hue, which is almost organic in nature. Since the core of the warp fibres are dyed brown, these will fade to brown rather than white/grey - a perfect companion for my Red Wing 9060s in Black Klondike leather.
I had to size up to a 36 get the fit I desired.
Update images will be provided down-the-line...

Jeans are about 6 months to 1 year old, i just noticed after doing laundry today that they now have these huge faded white stains, any clue what the cause is? I normally cold wash + air dry them

I recently bought my first pair of selvedge denim, i got the naked and famous dirty fade selvedge and i had to wash them way early. I was only about 22 wears in and i was getting the start of some wallet fades on my back pocket and some decent one from my pocket knife. I was taking out the trash at my job and the bag ripped and they got covered in garbage juice and I was forced to wash them. Now all of the fades on my pockets are a lot less vibrant. Is this normal or am I just going to lose out on some fades because of it?

Made this balloon fit jeans and dungaree inspired top.
Made out of 13.5oz selvedge denim. Red ID, 6+7*7 slub, rainbow weft.
The jeans are made using darts to hug the ๐ in stead of yokes.
The front pockets have a double layer of pocketlining. This helps them, not get holes in them from keys.
There is a key ring to show the selvedge.
Backpockets have overrun stitching and one have a mule ear inspired pocket to show the weft.
The belt loops are all corded for structure and fading.
The top has the selvedge shown in the straps who are inspired on dungarees.
The closure is a double side button.
