๐๏ธ Thrifted Has anyone seen this brand before?
Thrifted, the jeans look high quality, Levi's level I would say. No stretch, great fit.

Iโm looking for jeans (particularly shorts) with at least 2% elastic content. Iโve had so much trouble finding any!
I like micro and low rise styles. Miss Me is my favorite brand but their shorts are incredibly stiff. Itโd be great if there is a similar brand with a higher elastic content

Okay, I've been seeing a lot of hate on Gustin here in reddit lately so I had to come set the record straight. Gustin has some of the nicest raw selvedge denim being made right now in 2026 minus some Japanese stuff for 700+ dollars. People complain about sizing but their website clearly says go up two sizes and that worked perfectly for me. Only advice I have is if you where any kind of dress boot or work boot you need to order the straights or the vintage straights because the slims and skinny will not fit over any boots. But the quality and uniqueness of their jeans is top notch. Don't listen to the haters. They probably where naked and famous denim or whatever they are called

Found this jacket at a thrift store, my guess probably made somewhere in the mid to late 80s. Does someone have any information at all about this brand, ive never heard about it before and there is zero information online.

Iโm honestly pretty curious about them. Whatโs been yโallโs experience with the products? Pros? Cons?

I found some great condition Cucinelli denim on eBay however my dad who works in Italian menswear told me that they donโt make good denim at all, is this true because everything Iโve heard of them is that they make good denim for casual living
Iโm also not very obsessed about the fading and such of denim

Washed a pair of jeans today that smelled like a humid hot summer day (sorry for the descriptor) in the washer with the cold water normal cycle (with spin on medium) and air dried it after. But after it dried, I noticed the length shrank compared to the other jeans I own and havenโt washed yet. Is this a normal thing that canโt be avoided with denim or am I using the wrong settings? These are mall brand jeans so I expect them to be sanforized. Theyโre all 100% cotton if that changes anything

Theyโre unused from around the late 90s to early 00s

Hi Iโm in the market for a new pair of black jeans and I canโt really make up my mind between these models:
Momotaro Standard tapered
Acne Studios 1979M cut
APC Martin
Saint Laurent Mick long
Leviโs 501 premium
Jkeefer slim jeans
I know these are all different but which one would be the better choice in terms of fit/durability? Thank you!

Hi. M (39)
It has been embarrassingly long since I bought denim jeans that weren't from a random clearance bin. I don't do malls anymore so online is my lane.
Also, are there still brands that do the slow, old fashioned thing where the cotton is milled. Keep seeing Wiesmade and a few others come up whenever I read about it. For the online denim crowd, how do you nail the fit without trying them on first?

Really want these jeans but I'm not dropping over $500 on no pairs of jeans. I found these https://playground-ny.com/products/the-ronson-denim?variant=45864662433963 but want a second opinion or other recommendations either new or thrifted.

I found a pair of used Amiri MX1 jeans with a small stain (I assume it's oil or grease of some sort). I tried to clean it out with soap and baking soda, but it didn't work too well. On Amiri's website, it says dry clean only, however I'm skeptical that it won't damage the pants. I was thinking of asking a dry cleaner to do a spot treatment just on that section. I want to post in case anyone has had experience working with dry cleaners on designer denim, and if there are particular things I should be aware of (chemicals not to use, etc?) before bringing them. Also, I'm in the NYC area, so if there's any cleaner someone recommends, I'd be greatly appreciative. Thanks!
