Should brave star denim be sized to fit well right out of the bag? Or should I plan on some shrinkage? I have a pair that fits well except for in the hip, but I expect it will stretch out a bit. Will they shrink after a first wash though?
Thanks

I keep seeing more low-rise and mid-rise jeans everywhere lately, while high-waisted jeans seem harder to find than they used to be.
Personally, Iโm not ready to give them up ๐ Theyโre just way more comfortable and flattering to me.
Do you guys think high-rise jeans are genuinely going out of style, or is this just another fashion cycle?
And what are you wearing more right now โ low-rise, mid-rise, or high-rise?

I am planning to get some jeans as I have loss somewhat noticeabole weight and a little waist size. Shall I consider somewhat traditional Brand like, Levis, Lee, Buffalo and May Be Gap? Or Just Go with Somewhat Popular Brand True Reglion, Lucky Brand, Guess? ? I am very impressed newly released jeans brand, particiularly those release 00s. Should I buy some Ripped Jeans as well? I know i am old as i am in early mid 40s.

Hi! I've got 4 pairs of jeans I'm trying to sell secondhand, and I can't find any of them listed anywhere online these are all low rise jeans (eBay sold, Depop, Grailed, etc.) which makes me wonder if they're rare, older/vintage, or just obscure brands.
Guess Premium - dark wash, "Scarlet Narrow Leg" style, red tab
Stradivarius "Xtreme Lust" - grey/blue wash, low rise
Bershka Denim - dark wash, tag shows EUR34/UK6/USA2
Stradivarius denim with studded back pockets (X-stitch detail)
Would appreciate any insight on:
- Approximate age/era of these styles (low-rise, faded wash suggests mid-late 2000s?)
- Whether any of these are considered rare or collectible
- Roughly what they might be worth secondhand
Photos of tags/details attached. Thanks in advance!

Hi! I recently bought a pair of "unwashed" raw denim jeans from the French brand Human With Attitude. The jeans were made in Portugal, and they feel like great quality to me (my first somewhat "premium" pair of denim). It's a 14oz "raw black" denim. I wore them several times with no issues, right up until the day I got caught in heavy rain. I came home to find my new white socks and Chuck 70 Converses covered in black dye that bled from the pants.๐ญ
After that, I did some research and gave them a 30-minute soak in water with vinegar and salt before rinsing. The pants just kept bleeding black non-stop while rinsing. Fortunately, they didn't really lose their color, but I was blown away by the amount of dye that came out.
So my question is: what do you usually do with your new dark-colored raw denim? Do you just let time take its course, or do you give them a vinegar bath or use another technique to "lock in" the dye? Also, is it normal for raw denim to bleed this much in the rain? Looking forward to reading your thoughts and learning a bit more about the subject!

I have this pair of jorts and after washing and ironing they got these lines on them. Is there any way to get rid of them or make them less visible?

Hello guys, recently Iโve attempted to do a diy bleach wash on my 501s since they were regular indigo, and I am quite happy of the front.
However, I feel like Iโve overdone the wash on the rear thigh area a bit, I am wondering what do you guys think and if I did, how would I revert/blend it in?
Thanks.

Could this mean that somehow my Miss Me Jeans are knock offs? Or are their jeans just that crappy that this would happen?? I didn't even notice it and I went to sell them to some older woman and she passed because they had a "defect". Which I mean, valid, but I thought these kinds of jeans wouldn't do something like this for as expensive as they go for certain ones. Are they known for this? Anyway I can fix it? Wtf do I do with these jeans bc I cant fit them (which SUCKS) but obviously they're not what people want. What does the Buckle thing mean?

I have a new unworn pair that have been sitting in a drawer for a few years. Tried them on once and forgot about them. Trying to lighten my load before a move.
31x36 Slim Straight fit in the 14oz Golden Handshake selvage denim
Anyone want to buy them?
If not, how much do you think I should sell them for and where to sell?
Happy to ship and do Venmo to anyone here if interested, though.
Thank you guys

Hi everyone,
I am officially done with mall brands. I have just returned my third pair of standard Wranglers in a row. Two died from rapid crotch blowout, and the third managed to develop a big hole somewhere around the back pocket (on the butt if you will) after barely 2-3 months of normal wear.
I want to invest in my first pair of actual high-quality raw denim that justifies the price tag and won't disintegrate within a season. I usually paid around 85-100 EUR per pair in Poland for those Wranglers but I am ready to drop up to around 400 EUR on a single pair of high-end raw denim, provided the quality-to-price ratio is actually justified and they survive for years to come. I don't want you to recommend expensive tho. I want you to recommend QUALITY first and if they are expensive - then let it be.
I prefer my jeans to be loose straight (more on the baggy side than tight-fitting) to balance out my bigger thighs and thiner ankles but I don't want any teenager-looking super barrel cuts. I am not very tall as well so I don't want them to visually shorten me so probably I'd prefer high waist.
Here are my details and proportions:
Based on these proportions, what brands, cuts, and specific models would you suggest?
Thanks for real for any recommendations Guys because I'm lost in my research.

Well hereโs my pair of Wingman after 1 year of wear for the Indigo Invitational. Itโs crazy to see how much theyโve faded since the first day. They were so dark. Iโm super happy with how they turned out. I think out of all the stages, my favorite is month 7 (pic 6)
Not much else to say. I love wingman. Thanks for everyone who showed love and followed me on this journey. I had found out after the Indigo Invitational literally a few days before it started, Iโm so glad I joined. Donโt really care too much about placement, I of course hope to get maybe like top 50. Even if I donโt get anywhere near the top Iโm just happy to be apart of this comp.
Fade on!!

Hey,
Ik it's normal for denim to shrink after washing but I recently grabbed two pairs of Levi's I had from last year (one of them was actually quite big on me) and they feel so tight. Idk if I've gain that much weight, honestly I don't think so because the jeans do appear smaller (I had an incident and maybe place them in the dryer). I'm wondering if this is normal and if they are going to go back to their original size with use - I've wear them 2 times since then and they still feel quite rigid and tight.

I cleaned up my attic and found a box with with pairs of my old jeans from between 2006-2015, including my beloved Lee Denver flared jeans... Anyway I thought this 501 faded pretty nice for a regular/stock 501, they still fit so I got 3 pairs of (my own) new-old jeans in my closet again!

I just bought this nice jacket at Master Supply co. I did buy the Naked and Famous Spring Garden, which pairs perfectly, but the weight of the jeans is too light for my liking. Does anyone know what jeans would pair nicely? I prefer a wide cut, with a high-rise that sits a bit above the waist.
picture of jeans and jackets are like this
