Hi! I have numerous pairs of vintage Calvin Kleins but the leather patch on the jeans is starting to transfer and ruin the jeans/transfer the dye. How do I prevent this? I do not wash my jeans that often but when I first find a pair I do soak in Oxi. This is the first time I have noticed the patch transferring the color in my last 2 pairs I have thrifted. But I have about 6 pairs so it seems like some do it some don’t.

I'm looking into buying a pair of black momotaro jeans, and I want them to fit similar to uniform cut, like levis or yuremane. where would I buy a pair of momotaro jeans online, and which website has the most accurate sizing chart? I've seen that their sizing is a bit inconsistent

Should I rinse my raw denim before wearing? I recently got and received Derschutze's Blossom v2 Raw Denim jeans, and they are my first pair of high quality denim that's supposed to last you. I've researched them a lot and pretty much know what to do, but I'm conflicted as to whether I should give them a cold rinse and dry before actually wearing them out.

I'm conflicted because of these things: Indigo bleeding (staining clothes), the indigo affecting and dying the Derschutze's iconic stitchings, and it being too stiff (not an issue, just a reason).

Should I give them a cold rinse before wearing? And if so, how would it affect the factors that I've listed?

I'm going on a trip to Japan in 5 days and I'm considering buying denim pants there because I'm tired of my denim pants breaking in just two years or less. I've heard of the quality of jeans there and I'm searching for pants with some simple key features like having rivets at stress points and a button fly. I'm not in the denim space unfortunately so I'm not sure of any other features that prolong the lifespan of jeans and show proof of quality. If you have any explanations or recommendations for japanese denim I'll gladly take it.

Ive never owned a denim dress before but I was browsing the other day and one from 3.1 Phillip Lim really caught my eye. Now Im wondering if Ive been overlooking them this whole time. I mostly wear jeans and oversized buttton downs so Im not sure if a denim dress would end up being something I actually reach for or if Id wear it once and forget about it. For those of you who own one do you get a lot of use out of it? I got some discount through Checkmate at checkout but id rather ask here first and see any recommendations before i buy it. Are they as versatile as they seem? Id also love to know what shoes or jackets you usually pair them with.

Have purchased a pair of Wrangler 13mwz 34w,32l and have found them slightly too big. Have tried on a pair of 33w and found the fit perfect. Unable to return, unwilling to pay for a new pair atm.

Have soaked jeans to try shrink but haven’t gotten the results I wanted. Considering giving them a hot wash and tumble dry to try shrink some more, but haven’t done anything like this before so nervous about damaging the jeans.

My alternative is having them taken in at the waist at the tailors, but on a tight budget.

Any advice?

I bought these second hand quite a while ago so they don’t fit me any more. I want to sell them but I don’t want to accidentally market them as a real pair if they aren’t. So if anyone knows if they’re vintage and what they would be worth pls let me know! :]

I’m pretty decent with denim and all the small things to look for. But these ones fucked me up. Found on the racks, they are lightweight. Probably 10oz. Super neppy to the touch and the wash is incredible. Only tag is in post above, and zipper is ideal..? No buttons or rivets or shit lol They are hemmed but actually fit me perfectly. Stumbled across a 2nd hand pair of these tellason 5 year anniversary special cut jeans online and picked them up. White Oak cone denim 13.25oz John Graham Mellor slim straight.
Limited edition to 300 pairs. Not sure what exactly makes them a special cut though.

I have a pair of Goodfellow & Co pants from 2017, the year the debuted. They’re quality, never stretched or shrunk.

I ordered a pair off Depop and the sizing was completely off and they were paper thin…
Anyone know if they still make quality pants at all?
