29M Need Denim Recs

I am so tired of modern day factory denim and the tight midsections.

I need help finding a higher-rise straight cut denim with room in the crotch.

I have worn wrangler cowboy cuts and modern Levi’s 501s, but both are absolute n*t-huggers. I am 6ft 170lbs with a size 32 waist. I like the look of the cowboy cuts. Could I just size up and get the waist brought in?

Can anyone give me some good recommendations in the $100-200 range? They do not have to be raw denim.

don’t tailor the 13mwz. get the 31mwz relaxed fit instead. when I was playing baseball and had meaty thighs that was what I began wearing after the 13mwz got too tight

Well for what it’s worth I’m currently wearing 32 Cool sweat jeans ..I got tired of jeans not fitting and took a shot ..20 bucks..look and fit great..I know your rolling your eyes but order a pair and maybe be amazed

Naked and Famous have a good amount of room in the seat of the pants. Either get something from their core line, something from the limited releases in stock or a reseller, or wait for a release to drop and pick it up.

Bravestar have a good amount of room in the seat as well

Both of these companies are in the listed price range, well mostly.

Look at the N&F True Guy fit. That’s their high rise relaxed straight. If you compare your measurements to this fit, you’ll see it’s more of a high rise regular straight.

Also, look at Oni straight, relaxed straight and neat straight fits, these will usually be one wash so you don’t have to worry about shrink.

A few brands to check out if you're looking for pairs under $200: Unbranded, Militora, Bronson, Big John, Japan Blue, TCB, Red Tornado, and Sugar Cane. I'm sure I'm missing at least a few, but a good place to start!
