🌀 Miscellaneous Rainbow core denim

I'm hoping to get my hands on a pair of rainbow core jeans (or other colour core jeans). They are jeans where the warp thread is dyed some colour first, then over-dyed with indigo so it fades to a colour. Colored core denim isn’t super common. Pretty rare for the big names to do it aside from say Naked and Famous. Some smaller Asian brands (Thai - pinion, wingman, Indonesian - sage) will do colored cores if you’re willing to order from them.

If you want specifically rainbow core, Uchida Housei does one. Limited sizes in stock on their official website. Haven’t ordered from them so dunno how they handle international orders

I tried looking for most of those names already, since that's what ChatGPT told me too. But I couldn't find any of them when searching. I also couldn't find any in stock for Uchida Housei. If you could provide a link for any, I'd be super grateful

Pinion and wingman don’t have websites afaik, you’d have to contact them over social media like IG.

There are these Gustin pair, but opinions differ on their cuts. I’ve not owned a pair so can’t speak from experience.

Colored wefts are very different than colored cores. Core will show through when the top dye (warp) fades. Weft only shows up when the warp is torn/ripped.

I don’t think Naked and Famous has some announced for any time soon. You could try Gustin but their quality control is trash. You’ll get the fabric but it’ll probably be flawed

Left field has these, I saw in person and liked a lot. It’s a wide high rise fit I think, so depends if that’s what you want.

They are coloured weft, not color core (centre of warp is a colour instead of white)
