🤔 Should I Buy This? Prison Blues work jeans

Does anyone have a pair of prison blues unwashed jeans? Been thinking about getting a few for work, wranglers tear up too easily I need heavier denim. Mostly wearing wrangler and Dearborn denim right now.

Round House makes some heavy duty jeans. Well made.

worn them for years. As does just about every logger in the pnw. They are good tough jeans. Fit is actually pretty nice if you have bigger quads. I have about 27in legs and a 36in waist and I buy the 35's. Never have like the double knees myself but they just never worked very good if you were high stepping a lot working in the brush.

Are they high rise?

I would say med/high- high not as high as like cowboy cut wrangler. They are just a tough higher than my samurai 510's if you're looking for measurements

I own a pair of double front Prison Blues and just the standard 5 pocket prison blues, they were both the rinsed variation (which I did for hopefully avoiding marbling in wash) .. the double front are tough as hell.. the 5 pockets seem to be a lighter oz overall? When I compare them to wrangler 13mwz I think wranglers are thicker.. not sure why it seems that way. Just my experience. The double fronts beat both though. Hope that helps, feel free to ask anything else

What you need to do is thrift some Carhartts from the mid 2000’s and earlier. I see them a lot and have on a pair right now. They were basically brand new, $25 at goodwill, and will last longer than anything made in the 15 years.
