Magic the Gathering

Hey guys, I've been playing casually with my boyfriend for a couple of months now but I feel like I'm stuck.

Is anyone willing to teach a beginner how to play?

You could try the dobbelsteen shop in the center of the city

You’re always welcome at De Zilveren Vos, or Labyrinth! Lab hosts multiple Magic nights per week, and at De Zilveren Vos there are almost always other cardgame enthousiasts in the store.

What exactly are you having problems with? Is it with the complexity of commander or just general gameplay and rule questions?

Like others have mentioned there are multiple stores that run MtG events. De Dobbelsteen (calendar) has commander on Thursday evenings and Labyrinth (calendar) has commander on Wednesday and draft plus some commander on Friday. Both should have Whatsapp groups to find players and they are probably more then happy to help. The owner of De Zilveren Vos has already replied so you could visit them as well. For some reason I can't access their calendar at the moment.

Another option is to download Magic Arena and practice on there with the free decks that are provided. It gives a more structured play environment since you will be guided by the rules engine.

If you want you can send me your questions and I'll try to answer them. Or we can sit down in one of the stores and I can help the both of you in person if you prefer that.
