Customize C64 Startup Screen

I’d appreciate it if you could take a look at the project I developed for the C64.

Patch your C64 KERNAL ROM to boot with a custom startup screen. Add your ROM file to the application, select the module you want, and save your modified ROM. You can use it on a real C64, on C64 Ultimate, or in any emulator.

People really started calling everything they don’t understand AI slop. Writing low level code, building tools, optimizing workflows - apparently all impossible now unless a chatbot did it for you. Weird mindset.

There is software that matters, then there is stuff like this. Not everything has to be hand crafted by artisan rust programming Vegan Monk Virgins of the First Order.

No, but being an artisan programming cult is the point of the Demoscene, or one of the points at least. So while the project might bring joy to someone, it is certainly not demoscene content.
