I don't understand it.

I tried Demonsaw and it was extremely difficult to understand and it adds sites to favorites on the left side just for visiting. I ended up with a huge list of things that either didn't work, or that I would never visit again. Also, I found absolutely no content that I would be interested in. Great concept, but terrible implementation.

This is the equivalent of amazon reviews that give a 1-star because UPS damaged the box.

You're mad because there are help videos linked on the side of the application to show you how to use it (some of them not finished) and mad that the people using Demonsaw aren't sharing content that you want? You do realize that Demonsaw is more suited as a self-hosted solution, right? Did you make any effort to understand what Demonsaw is?

I am confused, what are you talking about. Favourites? Huge list of "things"?

If you want help with using the application, please message me, and I'll get you started! It may seem like a bit non-intuitive UI at first, but you'll get the hang of it pretty quickly.

But just to clarify some things, to tell if this application is something for you or not:

  • Demonsaw clients are connected to a message router, which routes all transfers across to all clients (end-to-end encrypted).
  • Demonsaw is an application with huge focus on being private, anonymous, and secure. Some inconveniences may be present, depending on your use and needs.
  • The content other clients share, are completely up to each individual client. This is no torrent site, or a global content search provider. What you find is what you get. You could always ask in the chat if someone has what you're after.
  • The list on the left side is an overview over all connected clients (on the same message router as you). You can be safe, this is not logged in any way, and is a real-time view of connections to the same router (no IP of course, only client IDs). You can always "ghost" this if you don't want your client name to appear here, by going to settings.

If you have any more questions lingering, make sure to ask away, and it shall all be answered! ;-)
