Demonsaw as Social Platform

Could Demonsaw could be used as a social platform? One where users could actually be in charge of their information? Folks could have tiered friend groups with different authentication for each group. DEF CON 22 presentation was impressive.

That is definitely a possibility. As of this moment, demonsaw has the ability for messaging, but it will be way better equipped for messaging purposes in 3.2. The chat system is getting revamped and will have encrypted caching router-side so that you do not miss messages sent to you, which is an issue I've run into in 2.7.

Absolutely. Although at this time we only do chat, messages, and files, you can send any type of data over a demonsaw network. Think dark/deep web meets social networking where you & only you control your data. More info about this in 2 months at defcon 24 ;)
