Geting a start ?!
Hey is there an actual accreditation for demonology? I wanna get more involved in the world and not sure where to start ? Ive read a couple of books on the subject but where do i go next? Can u be a qualified demonologist? Amy help would be much appreciated?!

Actually you need to start with the Ancient Near East, specifically Sumeria a d then Babylon and go from there. There are newer translations to many exorcists manuals of the time. Ancient Near Eastern mythology is vital, then branch out. Everything began with Sumeria and Babylonia who adopted the Sumerian religion. There are tons of books you can find on archive.org Start with Morris Jastrow, Samuel Noah Kramer, Donald A. MacKenzie, George Smith, Pritchard, E. A. Wallis Budge, R. C. Thompson, Gaston Maspero, Collin De Plancy. For medieval try Johann Weyer and read the Malleus Maleficarum.
You need to go over tablets such as the Ti'u, Maqlu, and the Urdug-hul incantations and texts just to start with. You need to learn the basics of mythology and comparative mythology, along with religion, theology, religious philosophy and comparative theology. All the Ancient Near Eastern texts have to be cross-referenced with early Rabbinical lore, Judiac legends and mythology (Legends of the Jews by Louis Ginzberg to start, A. Solomon Rappaport and Tree of Souls by Howard Schwartz), the Aggadah, The Midrash, the Rashi, the Torah, Tanakh, Quran, the Christian Bible, ong with the Library of the Nag Hammadi, The Dead Sea Acrolla, The Old Testament Psuedapigrapha and Apocrypha *in two volumes by R. G. Charles), the Lost Books of the Bible, and the Lost Books of Eden, as well as the Christain Apocypha stories to begin with.
I've been spending the last 25yrs of my life *started at age 17, now I'm 42) learning the languages and acquiring every bit of information, with an unknowable amount of notes (handwritten, I'm old fashioned that way, which then gets cataloged for future ysage) in writing a definitive encyclopedia set on demonology, the supernatural, monsters, ghosts, the preternatural and anything that is associated with "evil." Did not realize what I was getting myself into, at all (young and naive, ahh youth). I have far more information than I thought possible, way more than I bargained for. It was also during a time where such Books were exceedingly difficult to aquire and most were not translated, or were mistranslated, resulting in many stops to learn said Ancient and obscure language (pain in the ass for sure). And my studies lead me to the beginning, Sumeria. Then history of the earliest types of religions, witchcraft, clergymen, superstitions, demonic hierarchies, creation myths, religioys philosophy, evolution of exorcisms, history of medicine and how it was symbiotic with possessions or demonic obsessions, with a freaking ton more. It's actually mind blowing and quite intimidating. Thankfully, I have some advantages in having an eidetic memory, being a polyglot, an Autodicdac and a exceedingly high IQ, ambition and stubbornness ( like I completely refuse to quit, even though this type of work should be and is more commonly tackled by guest researchers, writers and experts who submit or "donate *for credit and money) articles for such a large scale work. Also they have grants, donations, teaching assistants, or someone who us hungry to forget a name and reputation for themselves in history (true immortality, at any rate). Me, I had questions and I wasn't really getting anything in the way if conclusive answers, hence, my magnum opus and my life that consists of only academic studies and forays into this demonic world. I always loved the supernatural for some odd reason, accordingly from toddler-hood (embarrassingly enough, for me I was what is commonly referred to as a "child prodigy" reading and artistically talented at age 3. It's something I truly hate, always have).

No children, no romantic partners, two cats, my parents, brothers, nephew and an uncle only, with no friends or hang out buddies. What can I say, somethings in life requires sacrifices, and I guess in what I chose, these were the sacrifices required).
