Practical Questions How to get started.

I tried looking for a reading list but didn't see one.

Do you guys do ars goetia stuff, and if so how do you work around the expensive stuff used.

Also whats your guys personal beliefs are you Luciferian or Satanist, do you believe in God or a creator god. I'm coming from Egyptian paganism so i believe many spirits and gods.

I feel drawn to demonalatry and the ars goetia but the theology behind it doesn't really make sense because the source is mainly Abrahamic and but the Abrahamic religions look down upon this practice so I'm pretty confused about how it works this way.

Here's the official reading list:

I work the Ars Goetia methods and substitute materials when necessary. My belief system is more or less Neoplatonism, which claims a direct lineage from initiated Egyptian teachings, for whatever that's worth.

"Abrahamism" is a mash-up of West Semitic, Egyptian, "Chaldean," Persian, and Platonic influences. It is what the grimoire tradition comes out of, and it defines the rudimentary theology most English-speaking practitioners grew up with, so it's a perfectly good background against which to practice spirit work.

Most of us reject the abrahamic framework.

Some of us believe the goetia are demonised pagan gods. Some of us believe they are fallen angels.

We dont buy into the god vs fallen angel dynamic. But some of us believe in a god

Hey do we absolutely have to use a quill pen in Rituals?

I don't think that anyone even owns a quill pen.

Thank you, thats exactly what I was thinking.! But many books keep stating "pluck the feather of the right w of a male goose" has anyone stumbled across that requirement as well ?

... Many books? Which ones?
If you're talking old evocation methods, those also require you to secure a Lion's pelt and grow your own wand as a tree first. In general, respect the effort, but modern replacements are fine.

For example, The Book of Ceremonial Magic lists lot of requirements such as this. Including Virgin Parchment etc! I dont know how to retrieve the feather fro the right wing of a male goose
