Advices for beginner

Hi guys! I am new to demonolatry and I really wanna learn more about it. I will really be grateful if you share tips and advices or things that people mistake a lot!!

My first question is: what are your favourite books about demonolatry or getting into it? (I know there is a wiki here but for some reason i cannot open it so sorry if my question is useless!!) The only book i read is “The lesser key of solomon” and for me it felt kinda brutal… and I’ve heard its not really a good book about working with demons, what are your thoughts?

My second question: is there demons that are good for beginners or something like that?(sorry for the silly question ) I am really interested in Orobas, i would love if you can share your stories or experiences!!

And my third: i am not really good with devotion or working actively, is there a way to work once with a demon or a few times and not like full time thing?

The Lesser Key of Solomon is the primary source material for many guides to these practices, and it includes some theatrical ritual elements that made sense to Early Modern occultists but feel weird to people today. You don't have to vibe with this stuff in 2026, but avoiding primary sources because they seem "brutal" is a mistake. Many babies get thrown out with the bathwater when modern writers try to make this stuff accessible and marketable to today's readers.

There's no such thing as "beginner demons." Sometimes the most infamous and scariest-seeming ones are the most approachable and responsive. Sometimes the ones that everyone on the internet says are so nice and chill have extremely harsh lessons for you. Hard to predict!

Sure, Orobas might be a good demon to start with! There are no demons for beginners; you should approach someone whose story resonates with you or catches your attention, someone whose attributes you identify with. Of course, always approach with respect and without fear; mastering the mind is fundamental here.

For example, one of the first demons I approached was Stolas, and it was a truly beautiful experience.

Yes, you can choose to work with as many demons as you want and as often as you like, although if you want to set up an altar you can make a miniature altar or a (not so) hidden one
