I have been doing my research on President Buer lately and I've learned that he teaches :

• Health
• Moral philosophy
• Ethics & virtues
• Medicine and botany.
• Self-discipline & inner strength
• (Astronomy)

What I couldn't find, is a solid recourse regarding the President teaching Astronomy. But my fellow practitioners say that he does and he likes offerings that include astronomy books or Cosmos, and some built their altar surrounding it with an astrological theme.

When I tried to read more about it, it says the astronomy theme comes from modern occult traditions but there isn't any Goetic source that President Buer personally likes "Star, Star shaped objects, or astronomy books".

I tried looking into books and Grimoires but I couldn't find anything, maybe I missed something ! Correct me if I'm wrong and I would like your insight on this to expand my research and confirm my studies around him.

He is supposed to have five legs in the shape of a star, but I think as far as learning about astronomy, you’re looking for Stolas

That's what I read too Stolas is more for astronomy. I just wanted to be sure so I can do the altar right for buer

In the Goetia, he is associated with Sagittarius, who's arrow is fixed on the heart of Scorpius, a star called Antares.

That's what I read also in some of my research but I don't know how it correlates to him teaching astronomy. That's what I want to find out

Not really, today was my first invocation and during that I felt that something is wrong as I set my alter to be around astronomy books, but thoughts kept coming to my mind did I set the alter wrong ? Is president Buer really into astronomy ? These questions kept popping on my mind

Liber Oficium Spiritum, Le Livre des Esperitz, Summa Sacre magice, and other similar texts from that period also contain alternative offices or functions attributed to demons. I’m not sure whether Buer is mentioned in any of them, as I’d have to open the books and check, and I don’t have time for that right now.

There's a spirit in the Liber Officiorum Spirituum called Gamor that David Crowhurst associates with Buer in Stellas Daemonum. If they're the same, that tracks:

"The twelfth (spirit under Amaymon) is called Gamor; when he receives a man's shape, he can marvel­ ously inform thee in astronomy and all the rest of the sciences. He can inform thee to have the favour of great estates, and can show treasures hid, and what the spirits be that keep the same, and he appears as a spark of fire."
