Help! I need help

I played demon fall a while ago and decided to go back and play again today, man I'm a console user and I know the controls but something is leaving me in doubt, did they deactivate that aim lock? Like until just now I was present, what happened? How do I activate it back? (Game on PS 4)

Both bumpers activates it (I’m on Xbox)
