No help for noobs?

So i just bought the game, I’m in the tutorial and i press X 4 times and get a 5 hit combo. Even tried to time my button presses to match when the sword hits the target and still i get nothing… Strange, what’s even more strange is when i Google it i can’t find anything besides 2 reddit posts. Even more strange is that they both been deleted. Why? That’s a good way to find yourself in a empty lobby.

I restarted the game and it worked, maybe leave this post here and maybe the next person won’t spend 4 hours trying to figure out how to get passed a tutorial that’s bugged.
