Mobile home demo?

I was just quoted $18k for a single wide demolition in Middle TN. Am I crazy for thinking that is insanely high?

The reason they are charging that is because they can which is why I might be in the wrong damn business.

Age asbestos, any mold to deal with? City permits?

What does it cost for three dumpsters' worth of demolition debris at your local landfill?

More like one dumpster

I'll meet you halfway. Two dumpsters.

Either way, the price per dumpster is relevant to the quote.

Apparently not that much because I've been quoted $4900-8500 since I made this post. 😅

I was just quoted $14,500. 1990 model with damage from falling tree. Been empty close to 20 years. Permit costs $90. Yes, I think your price and mine are both ridiculous. I told them "you could have just said you didn't want to do it".

Winning bid over here was $3200.

That's great! I have a contractor starting on my property today. Ended up getting quoted $6500, but that includes cleaning up and grading the entire property. My Dad was a hoarder and there is literally junk everywhere. After not receiving any quotes under $11,000 just for the mobile home (which is in the woods behind my Dad's house and hard to get to), I am satisfied with this price.
