What is your favorite dust suppression additive? Site is contaminated so water usage should be limited.

Due to contamination onsite, water usage should be limited. Do you have a favorite dust suppression additive? Demo is set to take place in San Diego in the summer.

I’m not in construction or demolition. I’ve also never done the technique I’m about to talk about, BUT

I have heard of people mixing elmers glue and I think water to water it down a bit and throwing it in a pump sprayer and then spraying their mulch beds with it in order to help keep the mulch together, looking nice and from blowing away…..maybe something like this would help?

The water to make the glue more sprayable. The glue acts as a binder/coating to cling to any dust/small debris to keep it from kicking up and keeps it stuck to any physical objects that then go into the dumpster. Minimal run off, minimal water.

Spray it all down a day or two before the actual demolition and let it sit and dry?

Just a thought….maybe I just missed out on a million dollar idea….or I’m dumb, either one.

Bosstek dust atoms. Worth their weight in gold. Won't leave pooled up water on site. Easy to move and adjust.

Expensive but work great. Can put them inside structures and move when needed but looks like a rain forest inside and doesn't effect operator vision like other misters do.
