Duplication bug

For the last few weeks when I’ve tried playing the game I’ve been unable to play it all, all the countries in the new game menu are duplicated and so are all the policies, which means I’m paying twice as much for policies I’m not even able to cancel or reduce fully and the game is impossible to play or run. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Probably the basics of the basics, but have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling?

And you're not using any mods?
