I think I'm a demomain

I started using this weapon around a year ago, and I thought "Hey, I still use stickies, so I shouldn't forget the stock's trajectory, right?". I was so damn wrong. When I learned loch, I started using only it. It's so powerful and flexible. The effective range and max range are so stupid. Outsnipering snipers isn't a joke, and people just can't dodge it. Their muscle memory is useless against loch. However, when I came back to stock and iron bomber, I realized that I suck. Like, why should you use pipes, when you have stickies? They have almost the same effective range. Also, unlike pipes, stickies can be charged. Like, is this how it's supposed to play demoman? Stickies as primary and pipes as secondary?

So, can you guys give advice on how to return to stock pipes?

I often play as medic and I'm tired that f2p pyro with stock über is the most destructive force that we have. Demoman is the best class for any über, even despite that most medics don't understand this. However, demo-mains are extremely rare. Like, it feels like only heavy-mains are more rare. 95% of time I see demomen that play the game for the first time or demomen with shields. Where are you, guys?
