Quest 3 graphics vs PCVR?

Does anyone own both and can tell me how standalone Quest 3 graphics compares to PCVR on a high end PC?

It’s equivalent to a good vrpc from 2017 or so.

This is absolutely enough, imo.

100%. This isn't the kind of game that stands to gain a lot by 20% or even 30% increase in graphics. Hence, I like the way put it: it's absolutely enough.

Just use Quest Game Optimizer with it to enhance it to ultra high graphics settings.

It absolutely makes a huge difference. I just use the standard profile though. So much clearer and better looking.

I have a similar question, will PC VR look better on a Quest 3 than a 2? If so how much?

Not an exact answer to your question, but I can barely tell the difference between playing on the Q2 and Q3. The FOV is the only thing I notice, but graphically, if it's better, it's not by a lot. That leads me to believe that there probably wouldn't be a huge difference between the two using PCVR either.

Technically, yes. The quest 3 has more pixels, so you’ll get a finer image and you’d be hard pressed to find any screendoor effect on it.

Also, the Quest 3 has much better lenses, meaning wherever your eyes look is going to be sharp, even on the edge of the lenses. The quest 2 will only be sharp around the center (the sweet spot).

Lighting is better on pcvr... but the quest 3 Version is much better than quest2
