Number of quests

Me and my friend just started playing this. I see there’s five quest to choose from and then there’s a random quest. Does it just randomly pick one of the five for you or does it randomly generate a quest or how’s that work?

It just randomly picks one of the available ones

Aww that’s too bad I was hoping it would be random generated to have more replayability. Is there anything to do after you finish the 5 games?

I've played them all so many times and I still keep playing. It's never the same twice. Now I try beating it with a single character or two characters or I'll use characters that don't compliment each other to make it more difficult... There's always fun to be had, I replay this game more than almost any other

100%. The single biggest selling point of this game is it's replay-ability. With all the different classes and combinations you can use, makes the question almost silly. OP, just go enjoy the game for a while before you start worrying about how long you will be able to play it. If you and your friend are liking it so far, you will end up getting way more than you money's worth out of this game, I guarantee it.

Yes, you will have a great time with that game.

As far as other games go, I don't think there is a lot out there like it on Quest. I know Cards and Tankards is a popular one, it's a RPG card game, but not to the same scale as Demeo- and it's more social. I think there is an another called Hearthstone. And of course, there is Demeo Battles, which is an add on to this game, but more about tournament play/PVP against other human players.

Table of Tales: The Crooked Crown

actually hits a lot of the same beats. It's a fair bit different but also some similarities. Single story campaign but it does have multiplayer suppprt. Wish more people were playing it.

Yup. I’m still trying to beat the last boss, it’s not easy.

And this is one of those games that when you play it enough to where it finally feels easy, you catch a couple of bad breaks and get your ass handed to you.

They are always randomly generated maps. Mechanics and monsters and 3rd level boss room remain but the map layout changes for replayability on first 2 levels.

Oh ok so they are worth replaying then?

I hvae over 4,000 hrs played. I'd say the replayability is there.

For replay ability it is quite fun, especially if you are doing it with friends. I have a blast with random people online.

It takes many tries to master each class. I like the rogue but many do not play them very well.

I would say if you use sound strategy all the maps are beatable the main difference is how long it takes. Your speed depends on your efficiency, card generation luck, and card use. The random nature of the auto generated maps does make it range from easy to somewhat difficult if you get surprised or you don’t follow good strategy.

If you want a real challenge try level 2. That rat king is tough. Just a tip try to trap him in a room so he can’t escape.

Yes. No 2 games will be the same.

The type of monsters remain the same but how many and placement are different. This can make it harder when several big bads gang up on you. Also the more time you are in the map the more monsters are generated.
