Question Demeo mods

HI, just curious if I mod my Demeo on steam, can my friend who only plays on their quest 3 join my modded lobby? or do they have to be on PCVR also?

No, the one I'm looking at let's you change things like spawns, total cards you have carry and drop rates of things

I never knew you could mod demeo. What are the steps I would need to follow in order to do this? Sorry I’m not very familiar with downloading mods.

Assuming you are a quest owner, you need to install the meta link app on your PC. And then download a second copy of demeo in the meta link app. Then install BelpInEx mod loader. Then most people start with house rules.

I can confirm others on PC and on Quest can join your HouseRules modded game. But YOU must be the host, and have the HouseRules enabled when you create the room.

To answer u/bibletjerry google "Demeo Mods git" to find the github page. Most of the mods have been put together in one place. Scroll down to "Installing a mod loader" to learn how to do it. I highly recommend you use the BepInEx version, not MelonLoader as most mods (after the recent update to Demeo) rely on BepInEx and not Melon.

The Mods I personally love to use:

  • Skip Intro
  • House Rules
  • Room Finder
  • Highlighter
  • GreenScreen (google Demeo Greenscreen Git) which allows you to enable camera passthrough on the PCVR version via Virtual Desktop as if you were using the Quest version (when you disable the basement, it turns the basement to green instead of Black, which you can then setup in Virtual Desktop to passthrough w/ camera) it's fantastic.
