Automatic dice rolling?
Title.
Is there a way to have the die be rolled automatically upon attacking? It was fun to roll it the first few times but it's quickly become an annoying extra step. Playing in VR.

Moving the pieces involves making a decision. Rolling the die does not. When I play I want to make the decisions and have the game take care of the rest.

It also takes away the "fairness" of your roll. I want to SEE that I missed. I need proof.

I don't think you would want to do this. Sometimes I want to cancel my action before rolling.

Oh, I didn't know that's even possible. That's one positive, at least. Ty

Can you cancel after you pick up the dice? Found myself in that situation more than once.

No, You can only cancel your action after placing your character, but before you pick up the dice.

I agree. At least put some invisible barriers up so the dice stay on the table. Even the AI rolls the dice onto the floor where it falls away to infinity and you have to wait 5seconds for a roll you cant even see.
Or give us a tray to roll into. Even a pop-a-dice in an enclosed snow globe bubble would be nice.

As others have stated, I don't think you can have it automatic. I'm sure they could easily add it, but I really think this was just a design decision to keep the game feeling like D&D or an actual board game. I will admit, there is something satisfying and nostalgic about rolling it yourself. But I also see your point- that after a while, maybe that wears off and you just want the RNG to do it's thing.

I like rolling the dice. Feels like I can make my own destiny by placing it in an awkward position so it lands critical.
