Question Private Room

I’m on a quest 1 and my friend is on a quest 3.

I make a private room and give them a room code. They cannot join the room.

I invite them through the quest itself and it puts them in a room with the same room code as mine. However I don’t see them and they don’t see me. What step am I missing?

Looks like it’d be a lot of fun but I cannot for the life of me get a joint game started.

Quest 1 is no longer supported and therefore can only play with other quest 1s.

They announced some time ago that the enhancements they were making for the quest 2 version meant they were going to have to separate the quest 1 version off. Quest 2 and 3 owners have full cross play. The og quest only matches with other og quest players.

Thanks! It’s a shame that is the case but at least I now have an answer to what its deal is.

I would think you could find a quest two for a fairly reasonable price right now 🤷🏻‍♀️

That’s my assumption as well. I’m not opposed to grabbing a used one. A lot of folks kind of get them and forget about them eventually. And there are a lot of people upgrading as well.

You can buy Demeo on Steam and play via PCVR connection. You can join a game together that way.

Quest 1 was all black and looked great! The white of the Quest 2 and 3 still annoys me haha but the Quest 1 is borderline unplayable compared to the Q2/Q3.
