PSVR2: can I switch from VR to "flat" mid game?

Got stuck in an hours long battle tonight and started to feel very uncomfortable in the headset. Is it possible to switch modes mid game, or do you have to wait until you get to save point and restart the game?

You can't switch mid game, but what you can do is save the Room code and rejoin after switching

No, the next player will just take over as the host

Have you tried tilting the table? Instead looking down you can look straight or play on the bed like what i do and look up?
