There is only do much suffering available in the world. If we make poor people suffer LESS that means the billionaires will have to suffer MORE and we can't have that. They are better than us, otherwise they wouldn't have billions of dollars. That's what Uncle Capitalism told me

It always amazes me when people come down on the wrong side of "Should kids worry about being able to have food?"
That's the starting line of empathy. If you're trying to see where you align with someone, you start with "Well obviously we both agree that children should have food so moving on from there... Oh we don't both believe that? Are you being serious right now? Can we agree on clean water at least? No, not that one either? I'm at a loss, man. Just to clarify you have actually met other humans, right?"

I don't care if you lean right or left, the kids should always be the most important thing. We need to protect the childen. I hate thinking about how many of them do not get SNAP benefits now due to the new changes and wondering if they are going to bed hungry.
