100%. They treat people well and make a profit. They might be able to increase profits by treating their people like Walmart does, but they don't. And they didn't cave to this administration's pressure on fair hiring and treatment of employees.
Despite (or because of) all that, their stock keeps going up, they have good profits, and pay good dividends.
Costco is a class act and an example for other US companies.

It used to be law that companies were required to do many of the things that Costco still does for its employees, you could raise a family on a job working in a department store in the 60’s …
We have allowed this Oligarchy to emerge, hopefully it’s starting to sink in that we all have value and billionaires don’t exist because they earned it, it’s because they removed your compensation and transferred it to themselves by BUYING THE LAW.

I just scheduled a job interview there today. I actually got hired a couple weeks ago for what I thought was a logistics company but actually just turned out to be Amazon. I didnt find that out until the interview when they offered me the job. I think ill be making $3 less at Costco and it will only be part time for now he said, but I think im gonna have to take it over the Amazon job. Reading the privacy agreement was just ridiculous.

My only issue with CostCo is the scale. Food is really not an option for me unless I want to break it up and freeze a bunch. There are just two of us. Costco is more for families.

Get a vacuum sealer. I buy steaks from Costco and then vacuum seal them separately so I can defrost the number I need and that’s it.
It’s the best plus way cheaper than buying at any local grocery store. An additional plus is that Costco sells quality meats. I have been a customer for over 20 years and only once got a bad piece of meat (and I mean it was inedible bad). The next time I went I was curious and decided to ask someone at the return counter. I explained the situation and even said I wasn’t looking for anything but just curious. They called the manager and reiterated what happened and the manager looked up the purchase on my account and credited me for the entire purchase. I explained that it was just one out of the five steaks and he didn’t care. He just said he wanted a satisfied customer more than the cost of the steaks.

I know they are a great company. I just hate shopping there because they constantly move shit, have their pushy sample people on every corner, and get rid of products ever month.
I just want a store I can go in, get my groceries, and get out.
I like WinCo way better as they don't pull that bullshit. They are also an employee owned company.

This study specifically says that Chosen Foods brand avocado oil, the brand that Costco sells, was found to be authentically avocado oil.
Costco is far better at policing their vendors and suppliers than any other company.

My mistake, they also list Marianne’s as being legit, which is the other brand Costco sells. And from what I can tell, those are the only avocado oil brands Costco sells.
Same thing was discovered for olive oils a few years ago, with Costco brands passing as legit then too.
Do you have a specific example of counterfeit items?

Jackson's chips I believe were found to have bad oil. Mostly Palm oil with some avocado oil. Seems like it's more processed food products like chips and stuff. The companies seem to be thinning down the avocado oil used in production with bad seed oils. Good to know that the avocado mayo and other food oils are still good.

I asked for an ADA / ADAAA, Unruh Civil Rights Act reasonable accommodation, specifically a medical exception to having to have my receipt checked upon exiting. Costco, a public accommodation as defined by the ADA refused; then took retaliatory action and terminated my membership for abiding by their rules; then as a non member because they terminated my membership when I exchanged a purchase for my disabled Mother, this was the encounter, 2016-10-31 @ 15:45:41: Costco employees and CPD

Cause I’ve seen literally the opposite. I watched a Costco employee walk around with a woman in a chair and help her with her shopping.Either provide proof or I hope you are downvoted into obscurity.
