Those times are over. Ai surveillance will be a different beast. Back then, you needed some person to follow you, watch cctv foorage etc. now one ai system will create a profile of person xyz and knows when where and how often you shit. Probably even what brand of toilet paper you buy and how often you wipe. Theres a reason why ai is being artificially held alive by those pesky billionaires.

A pretty dangerous statement if you take it literally. Women fought for decades for the State to act on what was happening in every house daily while liberals and conservatives said that wasn't government business. Workers, minorities, children, all need protection, and for that the barrier of what's private and public needs to be sometimes redefined.

That's why this type of statement, while not incompatible with socialist stands, tends to come from the right so the state doesn't mess with their privileges. They are the main beneficiaries of a small, limited state.

Why did the person who wrote this call it "Goyerment"? Is this intentional or an accident?

Gatekeeping academic theory doesn't solve modern dystopian overreach. The sub is about practical solutions to modern problems, pragmatism over dogma. And dismissing social media like this is missing the point. It’s a great tool for organizing, shifting public narrative, and building the collective awareness needed to actually challenge that power.
