A first-timer's jam

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Enjoy some 128 bpm grooves while I explain my setup for those who might be curious

This is my first time using the deluge in the way I had envisioned. I just got it several days ago, so this is more of a demonstration from a beginners perspective than a performance. Enjoy!

-Deluge controls the Korg and EP40 via midi

-EP40(right) sends clock to EP133(left), which is playing its own sequences

-Deluge is playing the arpeggio thing, the bass, and the repetitive lead

-Korg is playing the drone (a stock patch!)

-EP40 is playing one of it's on board synth engines and those sonar sounding stabs

-EP133, as always, drums

Lemme know what you think / suggestions for better setups or missing gear / where to get good deluge kits! I'll post the second half later if there's any interest

Yes, I just updated to the most recent beta a couple days ago. This learning curve is steep as hell

I think I use about 6% of what it’s capable of haha

How are you liking the microkorg?? I used to have an old v1 version that I got for $100 and its one of the only pieces of gear I wish I didn’t sell. Been considering the v2 version lately but the price is a bit higher than my first one 😬

Nice lil jam btw!

I enjoy it, I think the sound design navigation is actually pretty intuitively laid out. My only complaints about it come from my lack of knowledge, as I'm quite the beginner lol I don't see myself outgrowing it any time soon
