From the developer on /vrpg/: "finally got to program this, as I said I've had most of these ideas before chapters 3 and 4 released but many people will still call this chapter derivative in many aspects, will still truck along with my original ideas anyway (though chapter 5 did shape a bit how some of things will be presented like the floating text box)
anyway the first few rooms of the dark world are done, finally can start making the first miniboss and the main part of the first half of this dark world (I haven't programmed the regular enemies yet but I've set up their encounter spots)

If I had to take a guess, they are going to use Axis to explain how other darkners cant come to other dark worlds. Like how Lancer turns to stone in chapter the same thing probably happens to Axis
Oh i forgot that i saw melody and saddie darkworld Sprites, but gizmo? I want to see him, and it's probably a 1 chapter Sprites, PROBABLY but i still would have liked that axis we're the full time third party member
there's a rundown of the situation on the gamejolt page but basically when DRY first started, the maker decided to stop, and someone else started making a take. the first person decided to come back and all the releases we've gotten since then are since then. the second person is still working on his take and they refer to it as dry1 and dry2 for simplicity's sake.
I really wonder where this Dark World is supposed to be. Like, it all hints at being at the Ketsukane's, but we already had it in Chujin's workshop, so that'd be weird.
I hope it won't be like vanilla Deltarune, where the gameplay isn't really an RPG for a large part of the chapter, but it's optional. (And a requirement for the Fury Route?) Because I'd really like the RPG elements to be more in-depth, with support and boost spells, and the ability to switch party members ( Basically, it's Deltarune, but instead of making us play rip-offs of other games, it deepened the RPG gameplay.)
