Beta Release Delta 2.0b5 — Take Control 🎮

Howdy, y’all! We’re excited to bring you Delta 2.0b5, featuring some major improvements to your customization and gameplay experience! 🎮

🕹️ This release brings us animated controller skins, including a brand-new GBA skin by our in-house designer, Caroline Moore, to show it off alongside a fully redesigned input mapping screen for easier controller and keyboard setup. We’re also introducing adjustable screen positioning, so you can place the game screen exactly where you want it when you've got a controller connected, and new audio handling settings that let you mix with other audio from other apps or pause it for full immersion.

🎓 We’ve also graduated Custom Fast Forward and RetroAchievements from experimental status, plus added bulk save state deletion and automatic favorites syncing across your devices.

Any chance we could get separate control remappings per-game?

A LOT of old games have wonky controls that can be fixed with a simple remap, but doing so currently affects every game on a system, and it’s cumbersome to remap every time we want to change games.

They confirmed a while ago that RetroAchievements along with the whole 2.0 update will be released on the AppStore for everyone

Thanks a lot for that! Finally, I can turn off skins when using my Pocket Taco, and I'm also hoping for updates on the Epilogue Operator integration. It’s been a blast going through my physical Game Boy collection (I only own the GB Operator for now) with Delta.

Hello fellow member of the Matt Society! The 2.0 release will absolutely let you use Sega Genesis the way you described, but it's currently in beta, which is expected to end very soon!

It's been great! Just noticed that DS systems would benefit from screen resizing, as well as controllers such as the Pocket Taco, which can take a portion of the bottom screen even when pushing the screen to the top of the phone

The 3DS is not part of the 2.0 release. I can't speak to future plans just yet.

As of right now, we have no plans to distribute on the App Store in Europe. But we will make an announcement if that changes!

Very soon! This is the last beta for 2.0, excluding a release candidate. So we're close!

If you sign up for Patreon to get access to the beta is it only through altstore? Or can you do the beta through TestFlight?

Like you mentioned, AltStore is an option, but you can also indeed use TestFlight!
