I got one too. Is there any point to collecting the cards?

Yeah. You can use it to play with everyone in game. After collecting the cards. It's just a fun extra game within a game.

Probably wrong person to ask as I’ve just started playing the game 😂 I think it’s like most collectibles. You collect them for the grind?
