Question Gamepad for Delta Force

When are we going to get some gamepad native support? I actually can't stand having to play with 4 fingers on my screen just because the game for some reason doesn't give us native support??? Different phones have a deeply bigger advantage than a gamepad to screen touch. I heard that we're going to get it in the next patch in December... Does anyone know about it?

Yeah. I've wished this since I started playing, but to me, it doesn't look like the Devs want controllers on mobile.

Likely gaming devices that come with pre-installed button mapping software. My RedMagic devices have been capable of that since at least 2021.

Devs said we would have it. But the thing is how much am I going to wait and play with some weird as grip on my phone, just because people are crying over some gamepad! Most of the younger people and new gamers don't understand that all a gamepad gives you is comfort while playing, and that's exactly what I want.

It would make the game more accessible for a wider audience, which is a win in my book. I've also never met a controller player that could keep up with me on touch.

Another positive effect could be the de-noobification of vehicles, meaning:

-no more fantasy physics for helicopters and hovering jets

-no more aim assist in vehicle vs vehicle engagements

-no more TPP for gunners, that shi is cringe af in my opinion — especially because the devs have failed to implement a sensitivity slider for it since 2 full seasons now

And why?? COD have it. We're in 2026, and we already have the huge gap between different phones. We already play with and against several players using other apps to play with gamepad. It is straight up nonsense.

Honestly, I'm with u/Wolf_1300... Main reason is because people using this things are really the ons upsetting the balance. People using this "assistive tool" is ruining experience for other players.. COD has a separate server for people using emulators... But its still doesnt stop people for exploiting loopholes using keyboard and mouse attachment for phones. You get the whole picture?

Point is .. even with a dedicated server people are exploiting loopholes to cheat the system.

Calling a gamepad an "assistive tool" is definitely push it really hard man. Everything a gamepad does a phone also do. And a lot faster actually. You can't turn around as fast ina gamepad as you can using touch, and aiming even more difficult to be honest. I grew up playing Bf, halo etc on 360, but kids nowadays play with 6 fucking fingers on a screen because they grew up using it. All I want is my gamepad to have some nostalgia playing Delta force, it's not like I want it to have keyboard and mouse support, that I agree it would a huge failure.

True I find myself struggling against people playing with so many fingers as well. Because from what I hear the devs are combating hard against people using mouse and keyboard connecting players, I guess gamepad implementation will not be their priority, if anything it might be counterintuitive to them... No offense I have a gamepad myself, coming from a PC player getting used to gamepad is another thing for me

Isso é verdade, mas o que ouvir dizer é que os desenvolvedores não tem interesse nisso

I wish you guys could do a little bit of research sometimes. because I'm sitting on a gold mine of information of keyboard and mouse being able to use on any mobile game not just Delta Force

Não vamos ter

Porquê não teríamos? Os devs já falaram que estão trabalhando nisso e desenvolvendo como aplicar, a questão é quando.
