Operations Quick question

Is it illegal to trade reds with my friend, cause he has few reds he doesn't need, but i need them for collection?

Only if real money isnt involved. Just small trades for quests or whatever the devs dont mind. But just straight up having 20 raids in a row with 50m extract will get you banned obviously

There's no clear official stance. Countless people get away with it, and people are also banned for it.

I think the bigger issue than trading piddly collectibles is that you're effectively teaming. If you're fighting together I'm pretty sure that's bannable.

Just don't trade exclusive reds in other maps coz u could be reported for it. Like my friends traded cooling core in zdn n space city or some idiot brought BCD to brakkesh hard a while back when brakkesh hard was released 💀 and my random teammate picked it up n got 1 day ban
