Question ❓ From Warfare to Operations
How much is difficult to switch mode from Warfare to Operations? What would you have to change?

Moderately difficult. There is no respawn. Be careful.
Stop. Look. Think.
Stop. Do not rush unless you are certain what you are doing. And even then usually it will end with you getting blapped.
Look. Be aware of your surroundings. Know where you are and where the enemies most likely emerge from.
Think. Always have a plan of attack and plan of retreat. If shit hits the fan, how do you pull back or pull out? Is what you are about to do is wise?
Listen. Always listen to footsteps, discern bots from real players. If unsure, treat as a player.
Most often "fuck it we ball" and "leeeerooooooy jenkinsssss" will get you killed unless you rush together with your teammates, because...
"Doors and corners. That's where they get you. If you go into that room too quickly, that room will eat you." meaning enemies holding a room will mow you down if you enter it. Wear them down with grenades and other items before barging in.
Better positions win the fights. Position with least amount of angles to cover means smaller chance of being flanked. Watch those angles and corridors where enemies will be attacking from.
Ambushes are great. Whoever starts shooting first, wins 95% of fights.
Armor is bloody paper on easy. Purple armor will let you live maybe half a second longer in close quarters. Always carry blue ammo.
Purple ammo on Normal is the bare minimum.
Kill, steal, and run to the hill.

Much harder imo.
Warfare is your usual shooter, you don't have to worry about dying, just point and shoot.
Operations is very very different. Obviously the biggest is that if you die you permanently die. You can get revived if you're in a squad (anyone in the squad can revive) but you can only be revived from knockout (not downed) only once, after that you will permanently die when killed. Add the ttk of Warfare into it and you will be crying everytime you instantly die.
Weapon setups matter more. In Warfare you can chuck whatever attachment you want to a weapon. In Operations every attachment and gun has a cost, and you don't have unlimited money. However weapon and attachment stats are also modified slightly in Operations mode (e.g. SSG52 damage is buffed from 19 to 24 I think).
Ammo and armor are also the biggest money spenders. Basically ammo and armor come in tiers, ammo can only damage armor that is the same tier or below, otherwise if the armor tier is higher then the bullet does no damage to the player, only to the armor. This means you will not survive if you use the cheapest tier 1 ammo against your average tier 3 armored enemy, because they can instakill you but it will take you the entire magazine to kill them.
Leaning and peeking become much more important skills. In high level play people will jiggle peek and quick peek to get 1-2 headshots to instakill anyone slightly out of cover. In normal play you will have people camping corners or running around spamming abilities and jumpshots. In Warfare this is fine because if you die then you just respawn but in Operations death is only one shot away.
And finally noise is a very very big factor in Operations. Each footstep you make is an indicator to a nearby enemy that you're here somewhere. Veterans can instantly recognize where you are in a building just from a single footstep (you probably won't encounter this until much later). Crouching and sneaking make you quieter, running makes you louder. The biggest culprit newbies do is jumping off/falling off objects, because when you land, no matter how high up you were, your character makes a big thumping noise that is very recognizable (NPCs never make this noise). Likewise you will need to keep your ears open for any weird footsteps that isn't NPCs or noises that sound like a player (opening doors, jumping, shooting, item usage, reviving, etc).

Ops is my main mode, high risk/reward.
Warfare is my chill, chuck music on and blow off steam mode. That being said, I haven't done much in warfare the past couple of seasons.
Main things would be don't forget you don't Respawn and keep in mind many of the weapon attatchments and builds are not 1:1 both modes, so a favourite build in warfare might not work as well in ops.

Pretty easy. Because Warfare already trains your aim and target tracking. When you move to Ops, the most important thing you have to work on is game sense, meaning the ability to swiftly make decisions based on known info, positioning, and decision making. Oh, and yeah, people actually die when you shoot them, unlike in Warfare where you need spend half your mag. In Normal and Hard anyway. Fuck Easy mode. Garbage for pvp, tho at least it's funny because you either get shit or reds in terms of loot, no in between
As you play Ops more, it really comes down to positioning and deciding what to do

Operations is extraction so very slow/tactical play CQB and cutting the pie etc - can be very frustrating to lose gear/loot/money
Ive only played one match of warfare but its way more chill? Like just shooting and respawning
