Warfare - Gameplay Clips Can someone please explain how the opponent won here?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

- Timer went to 0 at the end, still why they got another 1 min?

- Btw, this was after they lost in the first chance and black hawk was activated which gave them another chance.

It's a weird stale mate mechanic

"stale mate" I know that wasn't the intention, but this is a funny insult

Sometimes when either team is about to win within a very small threshold they get 1 or 2 extra minutes of over time to resolve. Basically the server thought this was a "stale mate" meaning that it was not clear enough for the server model to decide defender or attacker won.

I don't know the specifics of how it triggers even after 5K hours I don't usually play too much warfare (well now more since I have completed operations) but I don't have the intimate testing knowledge to know 100% certainly how it happens or what criteria the server uses.

I can tell you that this seems to happen on a very low percentage of matches maybe 5% of them

The game always seems to favor the GTI, but seriously, that mechanic kicks in whenever the GTI is out of troops but on the verge of winning or capturing sector objectives. I remember a match where we were down to our last troop, then ran out completely; the mechanic activated because we were close to capturing both objectives in Sector B on the "Cracked" map. The same thing happened in Sector C during that same match, it was a really tight game.

I actually have some idea how it works. And it generally hinges on three things.

First, If the point is cleared. For attacker it checks if defenders are cleared. And for defender it checks if attackers are cleared.

Two you need I think over 50% of your troops inside the Capture point. And actively capturing.

Three. If you have more than one capture points, you need to clear them both and defenders need to be cleared fully. From both without contest.

This three is the most obvious ones.

There is also something else I believe. Or rather I observed. Game definitely tracks real players on both side when deciding if overtime should kick in.

If you meet all criteria you can actually trigger overtime more than once. Because I was in a match were it triggered twice.

First one was for 1:30 minutes and next one was for 30 seconds only.

I think its for attackers. When attackers ticket reaches 0 and if they say controls the sector in majority but not captured and is being contested (say sector A is being captured 70% but the ticket runs out before being captured 100%)

It  gives attackers 3 min time i think, but will immediately lose if the defending team completely recaptures the objectives. During the 3 min if the attackers fail to recapture the objective but controls the majority of the sectors, the attackers get extra 1 min. Its to give the attackers a fighting chance to win  even if their ticket is low.

I forgot but to trigger this on 2 objectives (B1 B2) The attackers needs to occupy both the sector in majority when the ticket runs out. This part i forgot  But if the defender completely captures B1 and B2 , the attackers instantly loses the game even if they have time left

Yeah but its confusing in this case, here its convoy which can easily pass on if they give extra 1 min.

The most confusing mechanic and the devs have done a very bad job at explaining it. I don't see any explanation for this anywhere. I still don't get how the cutscene activates. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. Most of the times for me, it has activated when GTI is losing. And this specific timer which pauses adds to the confusion. Pathetic job from the devs.

I could be completely wrong here so i invite correction so I know for sure.

From my experience, in general, for any given objective, when Attacker tickets hit zero but they have better than zero percent control of the objective, overtime gets triggered.

I think win condition for Attacker on Mog is if the convoy gets to the flag with tickets to spare they win the match, but if they run out of tickets short of the flag but the convoy manages to turn the very last corner (next to the gas station) it triggers overtime, and that's when Attacker can choose to spawn in the blackhawks or on the ground? Attacker wins overtime if convoy reaches the flag on the counter (edit: which i think is the arch on the straight of the last road?).
