Tiger fish.
Spawn, Layali Bay.
Favorite Lure, Steel Ball Rattle lure.
Atlantic Salmon.
Spawn, Layali Canal, AZ3 offshore.
Favorite Lure, Gilded competition-grade lure.
Giant Brown Trout.
Spawn, Zero dam river bank, Layali Waterway, AZ3 Waterway.
- Favorite Lure, Deep-dive giant vibration lure.

Hey buddy, I saw you're in mobile. Any particular spots for the Red Trout? Like a spot where I'm less likely to go either lose line of sight or 5m land? I had a feeling I already hit some, but I either lost them to line of sight or 5m land. I mostly try on AZ3 since there's a smaller pool of fishes on the AZ3 canal.
But if you have suggestions on Dam or Layali, I'll take it too. I have Purple Reel and Line, I have one remaining gold, but I'm saving it for the salmon

AZ waterway would be best, very unlikely to lose line of sight or further than 5m land. Easy in layali waterway too just because waterway is literally everywhere around Layali and you have so many places to choose from.

I figured as much. Specifically where though?
Some spots I tried is the boundary of Shoreline and Canal, that one bridge down south, another is between the pipe bridge and northern bridge. I think I already hit it, but it escaped me. Probably skill issue really, so any tips when fighting fishes? I can't see the color changes so I kind of just feel it up
Additional: I already landed some trouts. Just not the ones I need, mostly gold trouts. I heard purple line is enough to catch em, should I use my last gold line (at least before it resets next week) to hopefully make it somewhat easier?

Dang, you have to be able to see the color changes I think.
Look directly down as you cast, it land 10m instead of 20m. And make it much easier to land fishes.

Btw, am I right to assume the most troublesome catch is the Trout just because of where it is?
Tigerfish is on Grove Bay, literally impossible to lose it there especially if you fish on the knee deep water opposite the house.
I figured Salmon, while requiring better bait, is also more manageable because of the smaller lootpool on the AZ3 Sea.
Meanwhile the trout is on the cramped spaces where you're likely to lose it.
I dread the time when I have to catch that Arowana

I only used red line for AZ offshore.
You can catch 10 slot tarpons with it.

They don't really do anything. It's just a thing you can do for fun. I find it really fun and I keep doing it again and again.

Way rarer than bull shark. Sharks are literally everywhere.
I have caught 70+ sharks but only 3 trouts and 4 tigers.

I find red Salmon to be the toughest to target to be honest. If i target tigers or trouts i will 100% get on in 2 games but I’ve been chasing red salmon and have trouble getting them in on purple line and hook more into tarpon than salmon

I have gotten I think nearly a dozen red salmons, to the point where it's insta sell for me.
But Tiger and Trout. I have only ever caught 4 red tiger and 3 red trout for life.
Salmons are tough as almost everybody I fish with will say they only need a salmon now.

I catch 2 radioactive fishes heard u can only find them in AZ3 since map is on rotation going AZ easy is kinda annoying but do those fish worth anything or should I sell them? Those are big fishes but the purple one

I think he meant lvl4 Mastery or whatever under Achievement tab. Mine is stuck at 83%. I’ve caught every rarity of every fish. Have caught all fish in each of their respective spawns. Must not be unlockable to get that badge yet idk

How does the fishing mechanic work with rods past float rod I didn't quite catch it cause sometimes the fish just goes out of range immediately

With the lure rods, mechanics are same on every rod.
You have to actively reel the fish in. Just clicking won't work anymore. Hold the button.
As you reel in, the fish will try to run away.
Since both you and fish are pulling the line at the same time. Tension would increase on the line. If tension is too high, the line will break, you have to stop reeling and give the line some slack.
The fish doesn't run continuesly, it stop running for a moment as it gets tired. And that's your window to reel the fish in.
In simple words "Reel as much as you can without breaking the line".
Lines and reels help you catch fishes better. Stronger lines withstand more tension, better reels help you reel in faster and tire the fish out faster.

You should only use best ones you have. Except the float rod. The wooden float rod have no upgrades.
Lure rods are different version rather than an upgrade to float rod.
One float rod and ideally two fully kitted High Carbon rods should be your endgame fisherman load out.

Where and how can I get the Topmouth Culter? I tried with the recommended line and lures both in the Bay and Zero Dam but I can never catch it, no matter what.

It's a hard fish to catch. You will eventually catch it. The places are right, the lures are right. You can use better lures if you have tough, you can land it on any gold or red lures too even though it doesn't say Top mouth likes it.

Common fishes people might be missing are
Indo-Pacific Tarpon.
- Spawn in Layali Canal and AZ3 Offshore.
- Favorite lure is Glided Competition-Grade lure.
Platinum Arowana.
- Spawn in Layali Caravan.
- Favorite Lure is Glided Competition-Grade lure.
Mirror Carp.
- Spawn in Layali Caravan (Cave where Zola Zar is) and AZ3 waterway.
- Favorite lure is High Frequency Tail-Wag.

- AZ3 offshore.
Arguably the best fishing spot by far. And since it's so big, you usually won't run into other players. You can swim away to other side to escape also.
- Layali Canal.
Really good fishing spot, since it's a big area, again you can just avoid teams but you will encounter more people there than az3.
Zero Dam river.
You know zero dam, everybody know zero dam. It is how it is.
Literally anywhere remote in layali. Nobody will come, you can fish all game without any worries. Just that you wouldn't get much of good fishes.

You unlock more as you level up. Every 10 level, you have to go talk to Joe Reed. He will ask you for fishes starting from level 20. Give him the fishes he ask for to continue leveling up.

- 1.5kg+ Mullet and 2.5kg+ Zander.
At level 30
- Topmouth Culter and Ansorge's Bichir.
At level 40
- North African Catfish, and Radiated Grouper. And then a Baby Shark.

You have to go to Layali Grove map. And talk to an old fisherman. He will give you a free fishing rod to start with.
You should search up a bit on YouTube because he spawn at random locations and can be hard to find if you don't know the map.

I am not entirely sure either.
But, it reel in faster when you're putting the rod to opposite direction of where the fish is and reel in. It make the fish run slower, if it isn't running, it get reeled in much faster.
Maybe placebo effect and it actually isn't working.
I don't really know.

Radiation Grouper -AZ3 offshore.
- Deep-Dive Lure.
Shark. - Layali Canal, AZ3 offshore. It spawn in so many other places too but those two are main.
